Pointless ugly boots
Shoes these days are so ugly. I just don’t understand the appeal. I like the return to gladiator sandals. I had those in the 80s. They were fun. I didn’t like the return to platform shoes. I had those in the 70s. They were kinda ugly. Also wedges, not so much. Of course, nowadays I just wear plain boring shoes that are comfortable. On campus, though, all the women students are wearing such strange shit! I didn’t understand the sneakers turned into high heels. I don’t get the shoes with strange heels. I didn’t understand the bizarre heeled shoes made out of things like guns. Fetish ballet heels? Those, I get. I don’t think they are particularly sexy, but I understand them. But shoes are just crazy these days! So, the two that are driving me crazy the most are, like, oxymorons: the open-toed boot and the Roman sandals where the foot and ankle is covered except for the toes. THOSE, I utterly fail to understand.
