Summer Goals — What I threw out today

This list is from cleaning out bookcase #2 on my list of 40 steps/40 days to cleaning my office. I am making progress.

In the Trash

1. Boxes that contained materials for old motherboards and video cards that I no longer own.
2. Campaign Cartographer, a campaign mapping program for D&D and other table top RPGs. OMG, they are DOS based. From 1996!
3. Heaven and Earth, a lovely computer game from 1992 published by the now-defunct Buena Vista Software (a Disney company). It was a beautiful, meditative game. It’s on 5 1/4 floppies and it’s in DOS. I miss this game. I found a website that has a download available. Maybe I’ll give it a try.
4. Sim City 2000 (Why do I still have this crap?)
5. Age of Empires manual (1997) for the very first edition of the game.

Going to Goodwill

1. Five 1000 piece puzzles, three unopened. Two are 2-sided.
2. Poodles: A Complete Owner’s Manual.
3. How to Arrange Dried Florals if you Think You Can’t.
4. A kit of Mulan Valentine’s Day stickers.
5. One Day My Soul Just Opened Up by Iyanla Vanzant. (Why do I even have that?)

Unearthed Treasures

1. A photo of me as a child campaigning for my grandmother in Chelsea (Manhattan)  somewhere in the late 6os.
2. My undergraduate degree from UT.
3. A folder full of old character sheets including one of my first D&D 3.0 characters, Beryl, who was an elven fighter babe, circa 2000.
