Twilight

I didn’t know Twilight was written by a Mormon mother. How curious. Yes, I read the book and I’m half way through the second volume. I don’t understand all the hype. It seems like a very emo teenage love story and that’s about it. But I do love a good vampire story and it’s a quick and easy read to pass the time. I like the vampire template she has going in the book. For instance, vampires glow and sparkle beautifully in the daylight, which is why they must avoid the sun. Anyway, I found a link that briefly summarizes the story and has a link to the trailer. The author is critical of the soundtrack including Linkin Park and Paramour instead of Sisters of Mercy. But this is the vampire love story of the next generation, so it makes sense to me that these are two of the groups on the soundtrack. In any case, I recommend the book for light reading to kill office hours.
