Great pic of Steve on the front page of the Advocate today. Also he was on the news last night. Apparently the Insurance Commissioner is changing his tune from Steve’s conversation with him. Initially when Steve talked to him, he said he supported the per-storm deductible. Now he’s saying he supports a per-season deductible. I doubt it was Steve who changed his mind, since they had “words.” It’s probably the political pressure. Steve told me this is the first Insurance Commissioner in a long time who might make it through a whole term without going to jail.
