Oysters or Snails

Steve bought Spartacus on hi-def and we watched it tonite. He was completely oblivious during the oysters or snails scene, which made me chuckle. Wikipedia has a nice entry on Spartacus. It explains that Anthony Hopkins dubbed Olivier’s lines when the film was remastered to include the Oysters or Snails scene with Tony Curtis. I didn’t know that. See? I’m always out of the loop.

    That elicited a chuckle. Tell Steve-O he’s not alone in his obliviousness… I had to consult the link myself. I always thought the flick was more about pickles than snails.
